Several of the third-party services below are provided by a different group entity depending on the User's location — typically a European or Irish entity for Users in the European Economic Area, and a UK or US entity for Users in the United Kingdom. The relevant entities are identified in each section.
Among the types of Personal Data that this Application collects, by itself or through third parties, there are: Cookies; Usage Data; email address; first name; last name; password; company name; and data entered by the User into the Application.
Complete details on each type of Personal Data collected are provided in the dedicated sections of this privacy policy or by specific explanation texts displayed prior to the Data collection.
Personal Data may be freely provided by the User, or, in case of Usage Data, collected automatically when using this Application.
Unless specified otherwise, all Data requested by this Application is mandatory and failure to provide this Data may make it impossible for this Application to provide its services. In cases where this Application specifically states that some Data is not mandatory, Users are free not to communicate this Data without consequences to the availability or the functioning of the Service.

Opteo's primary hosting is in the United Kingdom; some third-party services process limited data in the European Union or the United States, as indicated in the sections below.
Depending on the User's location, data transfers may involve transferring the User's Data to a country other than their own. Where Data is transferred outside the UK or the European Economic Area, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
Users are also entitled to learn about the legal basis of Data transfers to a country outside the European Union or the United Kingdom, and about the security measures taken by the Owner to safeguard their Data. If any such transfer takes place, Users can find out more by checking the relevant sections of this document or inquire with the Owner using the information provided in the contact section.
Personal Data shall be processed and stored for as long as required by the purpose they have been collected for.

The Owner may be obliged to retain Personal Data for a longer period whenever required to do so for the performance of a legal obligation or upon order of an authority. A User may request deletion of their Personal Data at any time, and Personal Data is deleted on request or promptly following termination of the User's account, subject to any legal retention requirements. The services contained in this section enable the Owner to monitor and analyze web traffic and can be used to keep track of User behavior.
Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google LLC (for Users in the United Kingdom and the rest of the world) and Google Ireland Limited (for Users in the European Economic Area and Switzerland) (collectively, “Google”). Google utilizes the Data collected to track and examine the use of this Application and to prepare reports on its activities.

This type of service allows this Application and its partners to optimize and serve advertising based on past use of this Application by the User. This activity is performed by tracking Usage Data and by using Cookies, information that is transferred to the partners that manage the remarketing and behavioural targeting activity. In addition to any opt out offered by any of the services below, the User may opt out of a third-party service's use of cookies by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page.
A remarketing and conversion-tracking service provided by Google LLC (for Users in the United Kingdom and the rest of the world) or Google Ireland Limited (for Users in the European Economic Area and Switzerland) that connects the activity of this Application with the Google Ads advertising network. Users can opt out of Google's use of cookies for ads personalization via Google's Ads Settings.

A remarketing, conversion-tracking and behavioural-targeting service that connects the activity of this Application with the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising network. It is provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. for Users in the United Kingdom, and by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited for Users in the European Economic Area.

A conversion-tracking and remarketing service (the Microsoft / Bing Universal Event Tracking tag) provided by Microsoft Corporation that connects the activity of this Application with the Microsoft Advertising network. Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited acts as Microsoft's representative in the European Economic Area.

A conversion-tracking and remarketing service (the LinkedIn Insight Tag) provided by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company (the LinkedIn data controller for Users in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area) that connects the activity of this Application with the LinkedIn advertising network.

This type of service allows you to view content hosted on external platforms directly from the pages of this Application and interact with them. This type of service might still collect web traffic data for the pages where the service is installed, even when Users do not use it.
Google Maps is a maps visualization service provided by Google LLC (for Users in the United Kingdom and the rest of the world) or Google Ireland Limited (for Users in the European Economic Area and Switzerland) that allows this Application to incorporate content of this kind on its pages.

Payment processing services enable this Application to process payments by credit card, bank transfer or other means. To ensure greater security, this Application shares only the information necessary to execute the transaction with the financial intermediaries handling the transaction. Some of these services may also enable the sending of timed messages to the User, such as emails containing invoices or notifications concerning the payment.
Stripe is a payment service provided by Stripe, Inc.; for Users in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area the relevant Stripe entities are Stripe Technology Company, Limited and Stripe Payments UK, Ltd. Opteo does not store full card numbers.

By registering or authenticating, Users allow this Application to identify them and give them access to dedicated services. Depending on what is described below, third parties may provide registration and authentication services. In this case, this Application will be able to access some Data, stored by these third-party services, for registration or identification purposes. Multi-factor authentication is enforced for administrative access, and enterprise customers may authenticate through their own identity provider.
Stytch is an authentication service provided by Stytch, Inc., now part of Twilio, that manages User sign-up and sign-in for this Application, including password-based login and single sign-on via Google and Microsoft. For Users in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area the relevant Twilio entity is Twilio Ireland Limited.

Google OAuth is a registration and authentication service provided by Google LLC (for Users in the United Kingdom and the rest of the world) or Google Ireland Limited (for Users in the European Economic Area and Switzerland) and connected to the Google network.

Microsoft OAuth is a registration and authentication service provided by Microsoft Corporation and connected to the Microsoft network. Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited acts as Microsoft's representative in the European Economic Area.

Enterprise customers may authenticate using their own identity provider via OpenID Connect (for example Okta). In this case, authentication is handled by the customer's chosen identity provider, and only pre-invited Users are able to sign in.

The User registers by filling out the registration form and providing the Personal Data directly to this Application.

These services allow the Owner to communicate with Users and to manage support and contact requests.
Intercom is a support, messaging and User-database service. It can be used as a medium for communications, either through email or through messages within Opteo's product. For Users in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area the data controller is Intercom R&D Unlimited Company (Ireland); elsewhere it is Intercom, Inc.

SendGrid is a transactional-email service provided by Twilio that Opteo uses to send service and account emails, and to validate email addresses. For Users in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area the relevant entity is Twilio Ireland Limited; the parent entity is Twilio Inc.

This type of service allows the Owner to manage a database of contacts (such as Users or prospective customers) and to communicate with them.
HubSpot is a customer-relationship-management (CRM) service used to manage contact records and customer communications. For Users in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area the data controller is HubSpot Ireland Limited; the parent entity is HubSpot, Inc.

Statsig is a feature-management and product-analytics service. Following Amplitude's acquisition of the Statsig product, the controller named in the service's privacy policy is Amplitude, Inc.

This type of service has the purpose of hosting Data and files that enable this Application to run and be distributed, as well as to provide a ready-made infrastructure to run specific features or parts of this Application. Opteo's primary hosting for Customer Data is in the United Kingdom.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a hosting and backend service. For Users in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, the Middle East and Africa the contracting entity is Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL (Luxembourg); the parent entity is Amazon Web Services, Inc.

This type of service allows this Application to monitor the use and behaviour of its components so that its performance, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting can be improved.
Datadog is an infrastructure-monitoring and error-tracking service provided by Datadog, Inc., used in its European Union region. Datadog Ireland Limited acts as Datadog's representative in the European Economic Area.

Opteo uses third-party large-language-model (LLM) services to generate recommendations, insights and natural-language explanations, and to power its assistant. Where data is sent to these providers it is sent at inference time only, limited to what is necessary for the requested task; the providers do not use API-submitted data to train their models, and Opteo does not use Customer Data to train AI models or share or sell it. No special-category data is sent. See Opteo's AI Governance & Ethics Policy for further detail.
OpenAI provides large-language-model APIs used to generate recommendations, insights and assistant responses. For Users in the United Kingdom and the rest of the world the relevant entity is OpenAI OpCo, LLC; for Users in the European Economic Area and Switzerland it is OpenAI Ireland Limited.

Where Personal Data is processed for a public interest, in the exercise of an official authority vested in the Owner or for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the Owner, Users may object to such processing by providing a ground related to their particular situation to justify the objection.
