Opteo Alerts monitor your ad accounts around the clock and flag important changes before they become bigger problems. Alerts are delivered by email by default — you can also route them to Slack.
Alert types
There are six types of alerts in Opteo:
Unexpected Changes — flags unusual shifts in cost, clicks, or impressions
Zero Impressions — notifies you if an account's ads have stopped running entirely
Zero Conversions — flags when a conversion action hasn't recorded any conversions for several days running
Budget — warns you if an account is projected to over- or underspend its monthly target
Performance Records — highlights conversion milestones worth sharing with your team or client
New Improvements — lets you know when new optimisation recommendations are ready in an account
Unexpected Changes, Zero Impressions, and Zero Conversions are grouped as KPI Alerts — Opteo's adaptive monitoring system that learns each account's normal patterns before flagging anomalies.
Where to see your alerts
All alerts appear in the Alerts page, accessible from the bell icon in the left sidebar. You'll see the full history of alerts for each account here — even if you missed the email or Slack notification.
Alert settings
Alert preferences live in two places:
Account Settings (global) — click your avatar at the bottom left, then go to Account Settings → Alert Settings. Here you can turn specific alert types on or off across all accounts.
Ad account Settings (per account) — open an ad account, click Settings in the top right, then scroll to Alert Settings. Here you can mute alerts for that specific account.
For more detail on muting alerts, see Mute alerts.
Delivery
Alerts are sent by email by default. To receive them in Slack — either in a single shared channel or a dedicated channel per account — see Alerts via Slack.
