Spellchecker

How Opteo flags spelling mistakes across your ad copy.

Written by Shaquira Jeyasingh
Updated this week

Opteo’s Spellchecker scans ad copy across your connected ad accounts and flags any spelling mistakes it finds as Issues. Each flagged item shows the affected ad and the suspected typo, so you can review and fix it quickly.

Spellchecker covers all ad types across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads, and LinkedIn Ads — giving you a single sweep across your entire portfolio rather than having to check each platform separately.

How to review spelling Issues

  1. Open an ad account in Opteo.

  2. Click Issues in the left menu.

  3. Filter by type or look for Issues labelled Spelling mistake.

  4. Open an Issue to see the affected ad and the flagged word.

  5. If it’s a genuine typo, fix the ad copy in the platform and mark the Issue as Resolved in Opteo. If it’s a brand name, abbreviation, or intentional term, you can Ignore it instead.

Which ad types are covered

Spellchecker scans all standard ad formats across supported platforms:

  • Google Ads — responsive search ads, expanded text ads, Performance Max assets

  • Microsoft Ads — responsive search ads, expanded text ads

  • Meta Ads — ad copy across all campaign types

  • LinkedIn Ads — ad copy across all campaign types
