Improvements are generated as soon as you connect an ad account, and refreshed every day after that. If your Improvements page is empty, there are a few common reasons.
The account may be new
If you've only just connected an account, Opteo needs a little time to collect performance data before it can analyse campaigns and generate recommendations. Give it a day, then check back.
Not enough data yet
Many Improvements rely on performance patterns — things like conversions, CPA, ROAS, clicks, and spend. If an account has low volume or very few conversions, there isn't enough information for Opteo to confidently suggest optimisations.
Think of it like starting with a blank canvas — as more data builds up, Improvements will start appearing automatically. A good benchmark is around 30 conversions in the last 30 days. Below that, the algorithm can't reliably distinguish a genuine pattern from normal variance, so it holds off rather than suggesting changes based on thin data.
Conversion tracking may not be set up
Some Improvements rely on conversion data. If conversion actions haven't been selected during account setup, Opteo may not have the signals it needs to evaluate performance properly.
Make sure conversion tracking is set up correctly in your ad account. Without conversion data, Opteo has very little to work with and most Improvements won't trigger.
Some campaign types aren't supported
Opteo can't generate Improvements for certain campaign types. Which types are unsupported depends on the platform:
Google Ads
Video campaigns — Google doesn't provide an API that allows external tools to make changes to Video campaigns
Demand Gen campaigns — not currently supported in Opteo
App campaigns — not currently supported in Opteo
Microsoft Ads
Hotel campaigns — not currently supported in Opteo
If your account only runs unsupported campaign types, no Improvements will appear. Recommendations will only show for supported campaign types.
Some campaign types have fewer Improvements
Not all campaign types offer the same level of optimisation. For example, Search campaigns give Opteo the most to work with — keywords, bids, ad copy, and more. Campaign types like Performance Max or Shopping are more automated by nature, so there are fewer changes Opteo can recommend.
If your account mostly runs these campaign types, it's normal to see fewer Improvements.
