If you no longer need Opteo, you can cancel your subscription from the Billing Centre.
To cancel:
Click your profile avatar in the bottom-left corner of the app
Select Billing Centre
Scroll down on the Billing tab
Click Cancel Subscription
Only account admins can cancel subscriptions. If you don't see this option, you may need to ask an admin on your team.
Cancelling a subscription always sets it to cancel at the end of the current billing period, or at the end of a free trial. You can check the cancellation date in your Billing Centre. You can still access your Opteo account until that date.
Using Opteo again later
Opteo doesn't currently offer a pause feature, but if you need to take a break you can cancel your subscription and reactivate it later.
When you're ready to start using Opteo again, log back in and reactivate your subscription.
Deleting your account
Cancelling your subscription is not the same as deleting your account. When you cancel, your Opteo account and all associated data remain in our system β you can reactivate at any time.
If you want your account and data permanently deleted in line with GDPR, there are two paths depending on your situation:
Removing a team member's login
An admin can remove an individual team member from Account Settings. Go to Account Settings β Team Members, click Actions next to the person's name, and select Remove User. This deletes their login but leaves the Opteo account itself intact.
Deleting the entire Opteo account
If you are the last remaining team member and want the full account and all data deleted, contact support using the chat bubble in the app. We'll handle the deletion and confirm once it's done.
Account deletion is permanent. Once deleted, your account and all associated data cannot be recovered.
