When you connect a new Google Ads account, it can take up to 24 hours to generate improvement recommendations, although it is usually instant. If it has been over 24 hours and you still don't have Improvements, it could be because of the following reasons.
Conversion tracking
Opteo relies on conversion data to generate Improvements. You will need to be tracking at least one conversion type.
Head to Improvements > Campaign Groups. There you will see a drop-down list named "Conversion Types". You will need to check your Google Ads account if there are 0 conversion types available to select.
Open up the Conversion Actions table in Google Ads (Tools > Conversions). There will be a column called Include in 'Conversions'. Your conversion actions must be marked as 'Yes' in that column.
After they are marked as Yes, wait for it to generate at least 1 conversion -- once it has it will show up in Opteo.
(Note: generally, we require accounts to be already pulling in 30 conversions in 30 days to generate Improvements).
Google Ads access level
If you have email-only access or read-only access we will be unable to generate improvements. You will need to have either Standard or Admin access to the Google Ads account.
Paused entities
We can only generate Improvements for campaigns, ad groups, ads and keywords that are active. You should check that these entities are active. If they're paused, this will be why we haven't generated any Improvements for them. If the entire account is paused, we won't be able to generate Improvements.
De-selected Improvement Types
We may have improvements to recommend, but they're hidden because you've de-selected that particular Improvement type. To see which Improvements you've de-selected, go to your Improvement page and click the burger menu in the top right.
