Global navigation settings

The left side bar menu, explained.

The left sidebar contains Opteo’s global navigation, giving you quick access to key areas of the app and your account settings.

Here’s a quick guide to help you find your way around the app.

Account Centre:

The Account Centre is your home base in Opteo. It’s the first page you see when you log in. Here you can see all of your connected ad accounts in one place, along with key performance indicators and alerts that may need your attention.

At any time, you can return to the Account Centre by clicking the Opteo logo in the left sidebar.


AI-Chat:

AI Chat lets you ask questions about your ad accounts and get instant answers based on your real data. You can use it to:

You can use it to understand performance, investigate issues, or explore campaign data in more detail.

To open AI Chat, click the chat icon in the left sidebar (the ChatGPT-style icon).

You can also send data directly to the AI workspace from anywhere in Opteo, when you see the 'Analyse with AI' button.


Dark-mode:

You can switch between dark mode and light mode using the moon icon in the left sidebar.


Linked Accounts:

The Linked Accounts page is where you manage the ad accounts connected to Opteo. If you’re getting started with Opteo, this is usually the first place to visit.

From here you can:

  • Connect new MCCs/manager accounts to Opteo

  • Link the ad accounts you want to use in Opteo

  • Unlink ad accounts that you no longer want to manage in Opteo/don't want to contribute to your plan limits

  • Control which team members have access to each ad account

To open Linked Accounts, click the three circle icon in the left sidebar.


Alerts:

Opteo continuously monitors your accounts for important changes. Alerts highlight things like:

  • Performance drops

  • Budget pacing issues

  • Impressions or conversion flatlines

These notifications help you catch problems early and stay on top of account health.

You can receive alerts via email or Slack, but you can always see the full list in your Alerts page, by clicking the bell symbol in the left sidebar.



Profile Menu

At the bottom of the left sidebar you’ll see your avatar (your profile picture, or a coloured circle if you haven’t uploaded one yet).

Clicking it opens your profile menu, which contains a few different pages: your Account Settings, Impact Statistics, Billing Centre, and additional resources.

Account Settings

Inside Account Settings you can manage:

  • Your name and profile details

  • Password and login information

  • Team members and access permissions

  • Alert preferences

  • Slack integrations for notifications

Impact Statistics

The Impact Statistics page shows the value Opteo has delivered for your team.

You can see things like:

  • Estimated cost savings

  • Time saved through automation

  • Improvements applied

  • Alerts detected

It’s a useful overview of how Opteo is helping optimise your accounts.

Billing Centre (Admins only)

If you’re an admin on your account, you’ll also see the Billing Centre.

Here you can:

  • Update payment details

  • View or download invoices

  • Manage your subscription

At the bottom of the profile menu you’ll also find links to:

  • Feature Requests – suggest ideas or improvements

  • Help Centre – browse documentation and guides

  • Changelog – see what’s been added or improved recently
