Opteo's Scorecard is a powerful tool to perform quick audits of your Google Ads account. Within seconds you can get a clear picture of your account's health, discover areas for improvement, and showcase its strengths.

Find your Scorecard by opening an account in Opteo, and navigating to the 'Toolkit' tab at the top:

Run an audit using Scorecard

To get started, open up your Scorecard tool and click 'Generate New Scorecard'.

Opteo thoroughly examines your account and gives you a clear, easy-to-understand analysis of how you're doing. Whether it's breaking down Quality Scores or providing insights on your Performance Max performance, the Scorecard helps you master best practices and pinpoint any areas in your account that need attention.

Certain sections also provide a detailed breakdown of the data supporting the score, and you can easily export this data as a .csv file.

Sharing your Scorecard

Scorecards are designed to be shared — whether it's with your team or directly with your client or prospect.

Scorecards can be shared in two ways: either via a PDF download, or a shareable link.

Shareable Links: Shareable links are perfect for team sharing since they include the Opteo domain in the URL. This makes it easy for you to keep track of team members who have viewed the Scorecard and includes any breakdowns available for download in .csv format.

PDF: If you intend to share the audit with your client or use it for prospecting, we recommend downloading the Scorecard as a PDF. Any sections that do not apply to your account will be automatically excluded from the final PDF download.

How to white label Scorecard

Before sharing your Scorecard as a PDF, you may want to customise it to present a fully white-labeled version.

We have intentionally kept the language in Scorecard neutral, with no reference to Opteo, so you can present the findings as your own.

To further customise the audit, click 'Edit Cover' at the top of your Scorecard to upload your client's logo, website, location and industry to fill out the header:

Track Scorecard progress

On the Scorecard homepage, you can track your account health progress in two ways:

1. The rings on each Scorecard row represent the different areas Opteo has analysed. You can use this as a visual indicator, to check if certain metrics are moving in the right direction, or need your attention.

2. Click 'Scorecard History' at the top right for a broader view of your progress, month by month. Here you can easily spot your weakest month vs. your strongest month.

Technical Notes:

  • Depending on the metric, Scorecard will measure performance over 7, 30, or 90 days. For example, we’ll base your Budget-Limited Campaigns score on data from the last week, but Search Terms Coverage uses data from the last 90 days to give a more accurate picture of your costs and allow for variance. More details are provided in the footer of each Scorecard metric.

  • Not all metrics are suitable for every account — for example, if you don’t run any shopping campaigns, you won’t see a score for Product Performance. This won’t negatively affect your Overview score.
