Signing in to Opteo

How to sign in to Opteo, including social login options and 2FA.

You can sign in to Opteo using an email address and password, or via social login with an existing Google, Microsoft, or LinkedIn account.

Email and password

When you first create an Opteo account, you set up a login using your email address and a password of your choice. Use these credentials each time you sign in.

If you need to update your password, you can do this from Account Settings. See Change your name, password, or username for steps.

Social login

Opteo supports social login with Google, Microsoft, and LinkedIn. If your Opteo account is associated with one of these providers, you can sign in using that account instead of a password.

Many users find social login to be a convenient and secure alternative β€” authentication is handled directly by the provider, so you don't need to manage a separate Opteo password.

Two-factor authentication and OTP

Opteo doesn't currently support two-factor authentication (2FA) or one-time passwords (OTP) as a sign-in method.

If you'd like a more secure sign-in experience in the meantime, social login is a good option β€” Google, Microsoft, and Meta support their own 2FA, so signing in through one of these providers means your Opteo access is protected by whatever security you have set up on that account.
