What is the Account Setup Flow?

When you open a new ad account (what we call a "client") in Opteo, you'll be guided through a short but important setup flow.

This helps Opteo understand how to best support your goals, analyse performance accurately, and deliver tailored recommendations.

You don’t have to complete it all at once — you can skip steps and revisit them later via the Settings tab inside any client.

What you'll configure during setup

  1. Display name & colour: Useful for organising your account list.

  2. Monthly budget: Used for pacing alerts, projected spend audits, and optional spend-based campaign pausing.

  3. Performance mode: Choose between CPA or ROAS as your primary KPI.

  4. Conversion actions: Select the ones that truly matter to your business.

  5. Performance goals: Define what success looks like.

  6. Google Analytics integration: Optional GA4 connection for enhanced reporting.

  7. Campaign groups: Organise campaigns by purpose to unlock smarter optimisations.
