What are Client Settings?

In Opteo, each ad account you manage is called a “client.”

This term helps distinguish between different accounts — especially useful for agencies managing many clients or brands managing multiple business units.

Client Settings are the unique settings that apply to a single ad account. They’re different from your overall Opteo account or team-wide settings.

Where to find Client Settings

To access the Client Settings for any ad account:

  1. Open the account inside Opteo

  2. Click Settings at the top of the screen

You’ll now see the settings specific to that client (i.e. ad account).

FAQs

Q: Do these settings affect all users?
A: Some settings (like display name or budget) affect everyone. Others, like email alert preferences, only affect the individual user.

Q: Can I use these settings to rename accounts?
A: Only inside Opteo — the display name does not affect the name of the account in the actual ad platform.

Q: Are these settings required?
A: Not all of them. But setting a monthly budget and performance mode helps unlock key Opteo features like budget pacing, scorecard accuracy, and more relevant insights.
