Change your name, password, or username

Learn how to update your name, username or password in Opteo.

You can update the name and email address associated with your Opteo account from your profile settings.

Your name is used across the platform to identify your activity, and may appear in reports or exports. Your email address acts as your Opteo username and is also used for alerts and notifications.


How to access your profile settings

Your profile picture is managed in your Account Settings:

  1. Click your avatar in the bottom-left corner of the app. This will display your profile picture, or a coloured circle if you haven’t uploaded one yet.

  2. Select Account Settings.


Edit your name and email address

You can update your:

  • Name – shown on reports and dashboards

  • Email address – your Opteo username, and the email address we'll send any alerts to.

Enter your changes and click Save.


Change your password

You can also update your password here at any time in the Password Settings section.

You'll need to enter your current password, before you can choose and confirm your new password.
